Adrian Group is a multi-property operator. The SAP estate ran the consolidated financial and operational reporting layer across the portfolio — the kind of estate where a Friday-evening outage on a month-end window becomes a board-level conversation. Shinrai delivered the SAP-on-AWS migration with the multi-AZ discipline a multi-property estate needs.

The challenge. Like Unity Homes, the existing footprint had reached the architectural inflection point: hardware refresh on the horizon, business continuity expectations rising, and a growing appetite for the analytical reporting an AWS-hosted SAP estate makes easier. The migration needed to land without interrupting the consolidated reporting cadence the business runs on.

The approach. Same playbook, sized to a multi-property workload. Pre-migration sizing using the four numbers that anchor every SAP-on-AWS engagement (SAPS, peak concurrent dialog steps, RTO, RPO). Replatform pattern with managed services where SAP supports them and a tested cutover plan. Network architecture using AWS Direct Connect for the duration of the project plus VPC private endpoints for AWS services SAP integrates with.

The outcome. SAP estate migrated to AWS with multi-AZ HA, AWS Backup for cross-region DR, and the security-group discipline (tight ports on the HANA tier, IAM roles instead of long-lived keys) that production financial reporting requires. Operational and reporting continuity preserved through the cutover.
